DSI employs Direct Support Professional's to provide guidance and support for those who need aid in living a self-sufficient life. DSP’s complete many hours of both initial and continuing training to ensure quality support. Good ethical judgment, being a team player and a caring, personal attitude are just a few of the qualities a valued DSP must possess. Working as a coach and a mentor, DSI’s Direct Support Professionals seek to offer whatever supports are needed while respecting and advocating for the person’s ability to direct his or her own life.
